SNOW PIXIU - Oriental Collectors Seal Stamp Stone Relief Carved Pixiu

Rare white seal stone of the Kunlun stone family where most stones are red, yellow or brown whereas this one comes in a translucent shade of white reminding of rock crystal. The stone feels soft and smooth and the surface produces beautiful effects and shading when touched by light. The stone body is cuboid shaped with a rectangular base and a intricately hand carved Snow Pixiu as a head which makes it a very decorative Chinese chop to sign Sumi or Calligraphy artworks
